Homespun poetry that makes people happy.

Everywhere – the Christmas Spirit

Green palm fronds and sandy beaches
Golden glow of sun above,
Red poinsettias in each garden,
Faces warm with joy and love.

Christmas carols softly playing
Kisses beneath mistletoe;
Yuletide in the heart of Dixie –
Who could feel a need or snow?

In each home, the families gather
Round the fragrant Christmas tree
And with every gift they open
Laughter echoes merrily.
Bles by such a glad reunion, Christmas spirit, we have found,
Flourishes in any setting
Where true love and faith abound.
